We're in this together.

We're Still Here For You

Safety First

Safety of the people we serve and our providers is our top priority. We have developed a Comprehensive Caronavirus Response Plan that is updated daily as we learn more. Our provider staff are using universal precautions and offering telemedicine services wherever possible.

Current Safey Rules and Procedures

Safety

Wash your hands often. For 20 seconds each time. (Sing the full ABCs song whlie you wash your hands. It's almost perfect!)

Stay home unless you must leave for basic needs. Grocery stores and other essential services are open if you need them and you may leave home for these supplies and services.

Health and Mental Health Care are basic needs. You may leave home for these services. We will also come to you. Call us!

If you have symptoms of COVID-19 (fever, cough, shortness of breath) let your care providers know.

Practice social distancing. Avoid large groups. Stay six feet away from others in pubic spaces.

Avoid touching your face if you've not washed your hands, and wash your hands after touching your face.

Cover your mouth when you cough or sneeze.

Use elbow bumps instead of handshakes to greet friends and new acquaintances. Make this the fun new normal.

Get plenty of rest. Eat healthy meals and drink lots of healthy fluids.

Ask us for the help you need. We'll get through this together!

Mask Requirements

All staff and visitors must wear masks in our offices, unless they are alone in a private office. If we're meeting with you or a housemate or family member, all people in the home must wear them as well, unless they are a person who should not or cannot wear a mask for medical reasons.

Ridesharing Not Allowed

Ridesharing (staff and clients riding together) is temporarily not allowed until further notice.

Symptom Monitoring, Pre-screening, and Contact Tracing

Staff are asked to stay home if they have even one possible symptom of COVID-19, if they have been exposed to an individual who has symptoms or had a positive test for COVID. They are asked contact their physicians for advice on testing and quarratining.

Providers will ask ask pre-screening questions of all clients prior to all face-to-face visits and may postpone or offer a telehealth visit if an individual or household member reports any symptoms.

When a member of our staff tests positive for the Coronavirus, we conduct internal contact tracing and notify anyone who has had close contact, defined in our policy as:

Being within approximately 6 feet (2 meters) of a person with COVID-19 for a prolonged period of time when neither party is masked. (Prolonged generally means 15 minutes total or more in a 24-hour period. This does not mean brief passing in a hall or doorway.)

Center-Based EIDBI Services

Staff and children in our center-based services must wear masks, but due to the nature of this service and the children we serve, risks of exposure remain slightly higher in center-based services.

Additional safety procedures in the center include frequent handwashing and providing services to children who may present higher risk in areas apart from other children.

If you have any questions or concerns about your child's safety in our center-based EIDBI services, please contact the Program Manager for the site. Call the number below and you will be connected with them.

Services in your home are always an option if you have safety concerns about center-based services.

We Remain Open for All Services

For all the people who need our services, we're still here.

Referrals

We're still taking referrals for all services. Call for an appointment.

We will continue to provide services for everyone we serve and keeping appointments for all home and office-based services for folks who want them. Some of you may not be able to see your regular provider: if they've been advised by their physicians to stay home, they'll connect you through telehealth, or connect you with one of their wonderful coworkers.
